Use this template to prepare a Consignment Agreement for the sale of products or goods, between a consignor (the party who owns the items, e.g. a supplier) and a consignee (the party selling the items on behalf of the consignor). Provisions of the agreement include:

  • Title to all consigned items remains with the consignor until the items are sold or until the consignee pays the consignor for the items and takes over ownership of them.
  • The consignee is authorized to sell the items under standard conditions of sale, including manufacturer's warranties.
  • While any consignment items are in its possession, the consignee is responsible for proper storage and for insuring all items in the name of the consignor.
