Use this template to prepare a Water Co-Op Agreement, made between a co-operative association which has been formed to lease and operate a water supply system, and a member of the co-op who owns land which will be serviced by the water supply system, setting out the obligations of each of the parties and the service fees payable to the co-op by the member. Provisions of the agreement include:

• In addition to a monthly rate, the member must pay a proportionate share of the costs.
  
• The co-op is not liable for any deficiency in the supply arising from equipment malfunctions or other causes outside of its control.
  
• The member must install a water meter on the property.
