Use this template to prepare an Assignment of an author's right and title to copyright in a certain work by the author pursuant to the Canada Copyright Act, together with a waiver of moral rights in the work.

Moral rights are the right to be identified as the creator of a work and the right to object to any treatment of the work which prejudices the author's reputation. These rights cannot be sold or transferred, they can only be waived by the author.
