Use this template to create a Disclosure Document (Franchise Offering Circular) to be given by a franchisor selling franchises in Australia to every franchisee or potential franchisee, prior to signing a franchise agreement. The document discloses:

• corporate structure and organisation of the franchisor, including names of principals
  
• description of the franchised business
  
• financial and business history of franchisor
  
• provisions of the Franchise Agreement, including all fees payable by franchisees
  
• information on trade marks and other intellectual property owned by franchisor
  
• notice to franchisees required by Trade Practices (Industry Codes - Franchising) Regulations 1988
  
• all information required by the Australian Trade Practices Act 1974.
