Use this template to prepare a Restrictive Covenant for use in Canada, to be registered against title to land by the developer / owner of the land, setting out restrictions on the height, appearance, pruning and removal of trees and shrubs in a subdivision which will be developed on the land.

The restrictive covenant will run with the land, and the rights of the developer under the covenant will transfer to the new owners of the lots as they are developed and sold.
